As i grow into my different spiritual inclinations, I think it a disservice that not many know about the critical role that Shaman and Medicine Women play in many societies.

A shaman or medicine woman is a healer and spiritual guide found in many indigenous cultures around the world. They are often seen as intermediaries between the physical world and the spiritual realm. Shamans typically use various techniques such as herbal medicine, rituals, chants, and trance-like states to facilitate healing, communicate with spirits, and gain insights into the nature of reality.

In traditional societies, shamans play multiple roles within their communities, including healers, counselors, and religious leaders. They may be called upon to perform rituals for various purposes, such as healing the sick, resolving conflicts, or ensuring successful hunts. The specific practices and beliefs associated with shamanism can vary widely depending on the cultural context in which it is found.
