Debated across religious and spiritual denominations as to whether they even exist, Spirit guides, for those who want to understand what they are, suspecting that perhaps, they may be real, are unseen teachers and companions who support the journey of souls on earth throughout the self-actualization process, and the process of completing our soul's mission in this lifetime. They can be ancestors, either ancient or those who have more recently ascended, or they may be from completely different familial lines but have chosen the soul (and the soul in turn chosen the spirit guide) because the applicability o that particular spirit guides wisdom for that soul.
