I grew up in the era of vcr's and video stores (blockbuster and video eazy), and found nothing more exciting than going to the video store with my cousins over the holidays and renting movies to watch, but now, I can barely find anything i want to sit through on Netflix. 

Any recommendations of great movies from the early 2000's period? I would love to watch some throwbacks!
