A prompt for contemplation for business owners of all size business? How far do you think our ethical and moral responsibilities stretch in developing and expanding our business operations? Many businesses, as they grow, develop departments dedicated solely to scaling what is often called corporate social responsibility, but this can often feel like necessary compensation for the lack of moral and ethical responsibility taken in developing supply chains, and extracting resources for products or otherwise. Some people think that the over-emphasis on ethics jeopardizes the scalability of business and that the purpose of business is simply to grow, which is the central concept of capitalism. I want to put to you the question: How far do you think our ethical and moral responsibilities stretch in developing and expanding our business operations?

This can also be lived out in your customer relations - building trust, integrity and treating all those who come across your business with respect and kindness
